I am tempted to use an app, but the system works for me and it might be cumbersome to export all my charts to it. EasySetlist can be used for free for 10 songs. I haven't used printed sheets in years, and used my tablet for my charts and setlists prior to dedicated apps coming out for them. Much easier to do that with an app than it is do it manually. Some will let you transpose keys as well. Set list software doesn't just have a list of songs, it can also contain charts and performance notes as well. Setlist helper and Song Book provides musicians and performers alike an easy way to organize songs and lyrics into setlists for performance or practice. I don't even use a PC anymore for these things because it's faster and easier to just grab my iPad and work from the couch, than it is to wait for the computer to boot up and work from a desk. It would be faster, easier, and cheaper to write out a setlist on a piece of notebook paper than it was to use a typewriter. You can't change fonts on a typewriter, and the words were often too small to read from the floor on a dark stage. Kinda like taking a horse and cart to the gig.
